I'm glad I came across your application of white glue and the micro balloons for snow effects. I've had a big bag of micro balloons, for years, that I've been saving for a snow diorama and now I'm inspired to use it! Thank you for this video!

Very nice work! I'm the process of making one now for my uncle who is ex airforce. One thing I have read from Shepard Paine was to heat and then smash a tad the bottom of the wheels to simulate the weight of the plane. I'm honestly not sure if that's correct or not since I am a filthy casual. Very nice work again, if mine turns out half as good as yours he'll be happy indeed!

Is it ok to take a respirator off as soon as you are finished air brushing?

Tip that might help. Use one of the extra canopy’s while your doing the build so you don’t have to mask, then put on the one you want at the end.

I have scoured the planet and can't find a set of Mr. Beveled Tweezers anywhere for purchase. At leas that has them in stock AND will ship to the states. 😥 I love the GSI stuff and use their paints and gear so I know the quality is there and would really like to stick with them.

Nice work. The SAAB J29 was modelled from the drawings of the Messerschmitt designs P.1101, P.1110, P.1111 and P.1112. Frid Wänström, a SAAB executive had got hold of these drawing at the collapse of Nazi Germany in the spring of 1945. The arrow shaped wings was a new feature that made the J29 together with the F-86 Sabre and MIG-15 a shift in aircraft design.

Just a tip: you can use mr color leveling thinner with Ak real color. I think it works a lot better, at least in my very dry climate.

Excellent video! Sometimes when I airbrush I have to pull the lever back a pretty significant amount to get my paint to start spraying out. Once it starts spraying I can bring the nozzle forward to get the fine spray pattern I want, but if I release the lever completely, I have to pull it a ways back again. It makes it difficult cause ill be pointing the brush at a paper towel waiting, and then a lot of paint suddenly starts flowing out. This is accompanied by occasional sputtering as well. Any idea why this may be?

Is there a kit where the propellers can freely rotate?
